Kikkoman has sat quietly on tables and inside pantries for so long that it began losing market share to private label brands and chemically produced alternatives. So we turned to Kikkoman’s roots to document how it all began. Directed by Academy Award nominated filmmaker Lucy Walker, Make Haste Slowly: The Kikkoman Creed tells the story of the brand’s rich history and the family creed that shaped the company for over three hundred years. While the campaign won many awards, our biggest honor was winning Fan Favorite from The Napa Valley Film Festival.
